Pie Projects is proud to partner once more with Tamarind Institute this summer for a pop-up exhibit showcasing a selection of fine art prints from the workshop's creative production. The show will present an exciting selection of prints created at the internationally acclaimed lithography workshop based in Albuquerque.
Pie Projects is delighted to present “Distilled Presence,’ an exhibition featuring the works of three Santa Fe women artists: Dana Newmann, Signe Stuart, and Judy Tulwaletsitwa. Throughout their career, the three artists have pursued a path of human connections, expressing through their art the essence of our deeply human search for meaning, joy, and beauty.
The exhibition will showcase the 12 selected artists of Southwest Contemporary's 4th annual call for artists. This year’s call, which gathered more than 500 entries, was juried by Louis Grachos, executive director of SITE Santa Fe, and Marisa Sage, director and head curator of the New Mexico State University Art Museum in Las Cruces.
‘Through these artworks, I strive to archive the perceptible light-space-time phenomena. As these three elements intertwine, a multi-dimensional experience of pure light is created composed of fields of poly-chromatic color sculpted into dimensional forms. Luminous veils of light invite the viewer into an intriguing holographic experience. The physicality of earthly materials becomes nonessential as one becomes enthralled by the beauty and tactile quality of this light.’
Sam Scott: New and Timeless Paintings is a curated exhibition that highlights Scott’s mastery as a painter and the emotive and lyrical range of his work. Pie Projects is honored to present this work by one of Santa Fe’s great living painters, a world renown artist who has made Santa Fe his home for over 50 years.
Jennifer Lynch's new work is a continuation of her interest in color and the nature of light; the paintings and prints are stunningly beautiful and profoundly visceral. Lynch's paintings and prints are inspired by our ability to perceive nature and the cosmos; from the delicate molecular imagery of crystalline structures, to our telescopic deep views into space.
