Momentum: 7 Contemporary Artists

In celebration of the 12th SITE SANTA FE International, Pie Projects will showcase the work of 7 exceptional artists, including Florence Miller Pierce and Daisy Quezada Ureña who were selected for the biennial by its curator Cecilia Alemani. Also featured are Lua Brice, Jane Lackey, August Muth, Signe Stuart, and Judy Tuwaletstiwa. 

Florence Miller Pierce's installation Clouds takes center stage with large resin reliefs exhibited for the first time since the artist's passing in 2007.

Daisy Quezada Ureña brings us an installation of slip porcelain, clay, and construction materials informed by her full-room installation for the 12th International at the Palace of the Governors in downtown Santa Fe.

The work of Jane Lackey, Signe Stuart, and Judy Tuwaletstiwa explore materiality through textile-like hand-sewn paper, paper constructions, and mixed media, while Lua Brice and August Muth push the boundaries of expression of light with crystalline titanium paintings and holographic etchings.
